This is a new great building design i did for Forge of Empires. The biggest challange on this one was to create the look of a reflective front material that works in our render scene. Because of the how the render scene works and the angle of the camera I cant just slap a sky in there. The second challange was to keep the surface low contrast while still giving it a reflective look.
One design criteria of these larger buildings is that they should not block too much area. So there is a maximum height restriction. That is why it is lowered into the ground, to anyway give the impression that it is tall.
I also designed the graphics for screen animation. (They look great in the game :D, our animator did a great job on it)
